Quiz Competition on Drug De-addiction

On 17 January 2026, Chanakya Academy Women’s College, Sarenja Campus, witnessed a meaningful and impactful academic event with the successful organization of a Quiz Competition on the theme of Drug De-addiction. The program was conducted with the objective of strengthening anti-drug awareness among students and motivating them to adopt a healthy, positive, and responsible lifestyle.

Strong Participation and Awareness-Based Learning

The competition received an enthusiastic response, with 283 students participating in the preliminary written examination. The question paper was carefully designed to test students’ knowledge on various aspects related to substance abuse, including the harmful effects of drugs, their social and family impact, relevant legal provisions, and general awareness about drug de-addiction.

After a fair and transparent evaluation process, the top 30 performers were shortlisted for the next stage of the competition.

Interactive Final Round

The selected participants were divided into six teams for the oral question-answer round. This stage not only tested their knowledge but also highlighted their confidence, logical thinking, teamwork, and in-depth understanding of the subject. The participants displayed remarkable enthusiasm and awareness, reflecting the success of the initiative in educating young minds.

Winners and Recognition

Following a rigorous and unbiased evaluation, the winners were announced:

  • First Prize: Aman Rai
  • Second Prize: Anand Rai
  • Third Prize: Shreyanshu Rai

The winners were felicitated with mementos, and all top 30 participants received certificates of appreciation, encouraging academic excellence and social responsibility.

A Collective Effort Towards a Drug-Free Society

The program was organized with the support of Chanakya Foundation, Sarenja, and witnessed active participation from the college administration, faculty members, and the organizing team. At the conclusion of the event, students took a pledge to stay away from drugs, spread awareness in society, and work towards building a healthy and empowered community.

This initiative proved to be more than just a competition—it emerged as a meaningful step towards the vision of a drug-free society, reinforcing the role of education in social transformation.
