On 7 March 2026, an Integrated Health Check-up Camp was successfully organized at Panchayat Bhawan, Bairiya under the guidance of the Health Department, Government of Bihar. The camp was conducted in collaboration with NACO and Buxar Medical City Foundation, continuing the ongoing efforts to improve community health awareness and access to basic medical services in rural areas.
Free Health Screening for the Community
During the camp, villagers received free medical tests and consultations. The medical team conducted screening for several important health indicators, including:
HIV Testing
Hepatitis-B Screening
Blood Pressure (BP) Check
Blood Sugar Test
Doctors and health professionals from Sadar Hospital, Buxar were present at the camp to provide medical consultation and guidance to the participants. In addition to check-ups, free medicines were distributed to patients based on their medical conditions.
Strong Community Participation
The camp witnessed encouraging participation from the local community. More than 125 people benefited from the health services provided during the event. For many villagers, such camps are an important opportunity to access basic healthcare services without traveling long distances.
