In a continued effort to strengthen community healthcare and promote preventive health awareness, an Integrated Health Camp was successfully organized at Mathia Mohalla, Sarimpur (Buxar) on 27 February 2026. The medical team was formally flagged off from the premises of Sadar Hospital, Buxar by Dr. Shiv Kumar Prasad (Civil Surgeon), Dr. Shaligram Pandey (Communicable Disease Officer), Mr. S.K. Das (ICTC In-Charge), and Mr. Ram Narayan, Director of Buxar Medical City Foundation. 🚑
The health camp aimed to provide accessible and free healthcare services to local residents, particularly those with limited access to regular medical facilities. A wide range of essential diagnostic services were offered, including blood tests, blood pressure (BP) measurement, X-ray services, and general health examinations.
👨⚕️ Strong Community Participation
The camp witnessed encouraging participation from the local community. A total of 126 individuals received free medical check-ups, and necessary medicines were distributed free of cost to all beneficiaries. The medical team carefully evaluated patients and provided guidance on treatment, follow-up, and preventive care.
📢 Health Awareness and Prevention Focus
In addition to clinical services, doctors and health professionals emphasized the importance of early diagnosis, regular health screening, and timely treatment. Special awareness was provided on the prevention and control of communicable diseases, highlighting hygiene practices, early symptom recognition, and the need for medical consultation.
