An Integrated Health Check-up Camp was successfully organized on February 28, 2026, near Shiv Mandir at Purana Bhojpur in Buxar. The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Health Department, Government of Bihar, under the banner of NACO in collaboration with Buxar Medical City Foundation, Buxar. The main objective of the camp was to provide free health screening services to the public and to raise awareness about preventive healthcare.

A large number of local residents participated in the camp and availed the free health services. During the camp, HIV, Hepatitis-B, Blood Pressure (BP), and Blood Sugar tests were conducted free of cost.

After the screening, doctors from Sadar PHC/Sadar Hospital, Buxar examined the patients and free medicines were also provided to those who required treatment.

During the camp, around 155 people received free health check-ups and medicines. Participants were also made aware about prevention of infectious diseases, the importance of regular health screening, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

The programme was successfully conducted with the active support of S.K. Das and Prakash Kumar from Sadar Hospital, Buxar. From Buxar Medical City Foundation, Ram Narayan and Vishnu Jaiswal played an important role in organizing the camp. ASHA workers also contributed significantly by mobilizing local residents and spreading awareness about the camp.

The organizers stated that such health camps aim to bring essential health services closer to the community and ensure early detection and prevention of diseases. Similar public health initiatives will continue to be organized in different parts of the district in the future.
