An Integrated Health Check-up Camp was successfully organized on March 9, 2026 at the campus of SJVN Thermal Power Pvt. Ltd., Chausa (Buxar). The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Health Department, Government of Bihar, under the banner of NACO (National AIDS Control Organisation) in collaboration with Buxar Medical City Foundation, Buxar.

The objective of the camp was to promote awareness about preventive healthcare and provide free health screening services to employees, workers, and people associated with the project as well as residents of nearby areas.
During the camp, free screening tests for HIV, Hepatitis-B, Blood Pressure (BP), and Blood Sugar were conducted by trained healthcare workers. After the screening, participants were provided medical consultation and guidance regarding their health conditions. People were also educated about the importance of early detection of diseases, regular health check-ups, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
A total of 167 people underwent free health screening during the camp. Participants who required medical attention were given appropriate advice and were guided for further treatment if necessary.
The programme was conducted with the support of health professionals and volunteers who ensured the smooth management of the camp. The initiative aimed to bring essential healthcare services closer to workplaces and communities, making health screening easily accessible to a larger section of society.

The organizers stated that such initiatives play an important role in improving public health awareness and encouraging preventive healthcare practices. Similar health camps will continue to be organized in different parts of the district to ensure that more people can benefit from free screening, medical consultation, and health awareness programmes.
