Buxar Medical City Foundation successfully organized a three-day Tuberculosis (TB) Awareness Campaign in Buxar town from September 5 to 7, 2025. The campaign was aimed at educating the public about the symptoms, prevention, timely testing, and free government treatment services for TB. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens, students, social organizations, and volunteers, reinforcing the collective commitment towards building a “TB-Free Buxar.”

The campaign commenced with the inauguration of an awareness stall at Station Road, where volunteers and healthcare workers from the Foundation actively engaged the public by distributing Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials, including pamphlets, posters, and banners.

At P.P. Road, a massive human chain was successfully organized with the participation of hundreds of citizens, students, social workers, and representatives of voluntary organizations. Holding placards with awareness messages, the participants unitedly pledged their commitment to building a ‘TB-Free Buxar.

Venue: Vedshira Ashram, behind Kawaldah Pokhra, Buxar
The three-day campaign culminated with an On-the-Spot Drawing Competition on the theme ‘Healthy and TB-Free Society.’ Dozens of enthusiastic students participated, using colors and creativity to convey strong messages of health, hope, and collective responsibility. Through their artwork, they not only showcased talent but also inspired the community to join hands in the fight against tuberculosis.
The campaign concluded with an On-the-Spot Drawing Competition on the theme “Healthy and TB-Free Society.” Students showcased their creativity to spread awareness through art.
